Ironman Japan hits record entry

Event on Goto Island enjoys record 1,250 entries

Ironman Japan hits record entry Entries to the tenth anniversary Ironman Japan to be held on Goto Island June 13 has been closed by the race organizers. With a record of over 1,250 entries the race registration has closed seven weeks early for the first time in the race's 10 year history.

Race Director Micky Yamamoto is excited about this years race: "We have been working hard to provide a great racing experience for all the athletes and the record entry for this year is very encouraging. We will be making some exciting changes to the race in 2010 which will we believe add to the race experience for all competitors."

Professional athletes wishing to race in Ironman Japan should contact World Triathlon Corporation as soon as possible to secure entry.

CompuTrainer Chronicles

Before I got my CompuTrainer last year, my limited experience with it included casual indoor rides at our local bike shop where it provided a fun diversion from normal winter trainer rides at home, gave you something to look at while riding, plus the fun of "racing" your friends and riding different courses. While these are all great features, and perhaps the well-known aspects of the CompuTrainer, I have since come to learn about the CompuTrainer's other features that are an extreme value as a training tool.
