Media Credential Applications for 2010 Ford Ironman St. George Available Online

Ironman is currently accepting applications from all media members interested in covering this year's Ford Ironman St. George, taking place on Saturday, May 1, in St. George, Utah. Journalists covering the event for media purposes are asked to submit a media credential application, which is now available online and can be accessed by clicking the 'Media Related Downloads' link in the 'Media Center' section of Ironman's official Web site, www.ironman.com.

Only media with a letter confirming assignment from a managing editor/producer will be granted media credentials. The application deadline for media credentials is 4 p.m. on Friday, April 30. As applications are processed, media will be notified of their access. All media granted credentials must secure those credentials no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, April 30. Credentials can be picked up at the Ford Ironman St. George Media Center located in Entrada B/C at the Dixie Center. The Media Center will be open Wednesday, April 28, 1 - 4 p.m.; Thursday, April 29, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and Friday, April 30, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. On Saturday, May 1 (RACE DAY) the Media Center will relocate to the finish line* and will be open from 5:30 a.m. - midnight. *More details regarding specific finish line location to follow in the coming weeks.

Media are encouraged to attend the Ford Ironman St. George Pre-Race Press Conference taking place on Thursday, April 29, at 11 a.m. in Sunbrook B of the Dixie Center.  The press conference will feature top professional contenders, as well as special interest age group athletes from Utah and nationwide.
