Ironman 70.3 Branson will serve as one of 34 worldwide qualifying events for the 2010 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater, Fla. About the Race

Ironman 70.3 Branson will be a qualifying race for the 2010 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 Triathlon - 50 slots will be awarded to the top finishers for the championship in Clearwater, Florida in November.

The swim will take place in the crystal clear waters of Table Rock Lake. Athletes will cover a rectangular shape swim course and return back to Moonshine Beach at Table Rock Lake. Athletes can expect a wetsuit legal swim in one of America's cleanest lakes.

The 56-mile bike course will take athletes through the challenging hills of the Ozark Mountains. This area is known for it's rolling terrain and athletes can expect a challenging bike course. The course roadways are mostly asphalt, in great condition with scenic mountain views throughout.

The 13.1-mile (half-marathon) run will be a flat, two-loop, specatator-friendly course through the shopping district of the Branson Landing. Athletes will finish at the spectacular Branson Landing Promenade.
