Set in beautiful Penha, Brazil, Ironman 70.3 Brazil promises to be a destination race of a lifetime. Once you're done racing, you'll have lots to do.
The city of Penha offers many attraction options for visitors and natives. Saudade beach, Alegre beach, Quilombo beach, Fortaleza beach and many others circle the city making a very nice coast. The Itacoporoy beach is one of those, it is the start point of Ironman Brasil 70.3 Beto Carrero 2008.
Another important attraction of Penha is the Park Beto Carrero World, which will be where many of the event activities will take place.

Watch as Andy Potts, a highly decorated athlete with short-course success, sprinted to a first place 3:42:33 finish, while Australia’s Mirinda Carfrae broke the course record and claimed victory finishing at 4:07:25.
