Galindez and Ohata win at Ironman 70.3 BrazilClose racing was the name of the game at Ironman 70.3 Brazil today as Oscar Galindez, the runner-up at the Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 last year, and Mariana Ohata claimed hard-earned titles in Penha.

Galindez ran his way to another Ironman 70.3 title in Brazil today, beating Igor Amorelli to the line by just over 40 seconds.

If the men's race was close, the women's race was a nail-biter as Ohata held off Vanessa Gianinni by just six seconds to claim the women's title.

Here are the results for the top five men and women overall. You can check out more results and the athlete tracking data on the Ironman 70.3 Brazil page here on Ironman.com
