The focus at Profile Design has always been to develop products that help athletes do more with a slice of time than they ever thought possible.
Since our first product introduction in 1988, our focus has always been to develop products that help athletes do more with a slice of time than they ever thought possible. Recognizing the need for products tough and comfortable enough to withstand distance events, we began collaborating with Ironman in to create the official aerobar of Ironman events.
The result of that venture is the Carbon Styke™ aerobar in 2003. Endorsed by many top professionals for its stability, control and performance, the Carbon Styke™ quickly became a best seller.
Using that same template for success, we created the official fork of Ironman, the ACD™. Utilizing continuous carbon construction, from the steering column to the drop-outs, the ACD™ is light, stiff and has a forgiving ride quality.
Plans for 2009 include a offical Ironman saddle. Still in development, the saddle with have titanium rails and triathlon specific shape and features.
