TEAMPHLY: Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY), Ironman sponsor since 2003, is biking for bucks to help the victims of the oil spill. TEAMPHLY is asking its fans and partners to join them in their "Climbing for Cleanup" mission by making a donation to Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans (CCANO). Co-presidents Chris Maguire and Sean Sweeney (both Ironman triathletes), are raising money and competing in the Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race.

This race on August 14th in Leadville, CO is known as one of the toughest cycling events in the world. It includes 14,000 feet of climbing over the 100 mile course.

“With nearly 26,000 customers across the Gulf Coast states, Philadelphia Insurance Companies is deeply committed to helping the communities we serve,” said Chairman and CEO Jamie Maguire, pictured competing at Ford Ironman Lake Placid. “This is one of the worst environmental disasters in world history. It is imperative that we do whatever we can for the families whose livelihoods are dependent upon the Gulf of Mexico.”
