Steelhead Athletes Help out Boys and Girls Club

Over 100 Triathletes/Volunteers will be coming together this Friday, July 30, from 1-6 pm at the Boys and Girls Club at 1200 East Main Street in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to assist with Coaching and Mentoring of kids at the club's annual Olympic Field Day. Ironman Japan Athletes Offered Qualifying Opportunity

The 50 qualifying slots for the Ford Ironman World Championship, which were previously assigned to Ironman Japan, will now be offered at the Jeju International Triathlon (JIT) taking place on July 11, 2010 on Jeju Island, South Korea. The cancellation of Ironman Japan was due to the host venue's concerns over the spread of foot & mouth disease.
