Some of Katya's tips:

Putting on the suit:

  1. Use body glide or “Pam” on your arms and ankles before putting the suit on.

  2. Pull the legs up as high as you can, pulling from the inside of the suit and work the excess material up so that it's high on the inseam.

  3. Pull the arms up as high as you can so you have lots of room in the shoulders - the most important part about getting the suit on properly is to make sure you have enough shoulder mobility.

  4. Once you zip up the suit, either tuck the chord under the velcro flap or leave it to hang lose.

Taking off the wetsuit

  1. The first thing you want to do is to unzip the wetsuit and work it off the shoulders as you're running up to transition.

  2. Pull off one arm at a time and then run to the transition area with the suit undone down to your waist.

  3. Then start working it off your waist. If you've used some body glide or “Pam” on your ankles and wrists, it should slide off your legs quite easily.

  4. I like to step on the suit and pull one leg out at a time.
